At 8:00 AM, your private car and guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to your first destination — Laitan Ancient Town.

Upon arrival, stroll through the charming streets of Laitan, known as “Chongqing’s only fortress-style ancient town.” The town preserves Qing Dynasty Jiaqing-period mountain fortifications and traditional Ming–Qing architectural neighborhoods. Don’t miss the opportunity to taste Hechuan’s local specialty, “Hechuan Peach Slices.”

After exploring the ancient town, enjoy 1.5 hours for your lunch (at your own expense),at nearby local restaurants where you can try authentic Chongqing cuisine.

Following lunch, your private car will take you to the second highlight: Hechuan Diaoyu Fortress. Known as the “Place Where God’s Whip Was Broken,” this fortress was the key battlefield during the Southern Song Dynasty’s 36-year resistance against the Mongols — and the site where Mongke Khan died. Today, you can walk along well-preserved relics including ancient city walls, gates, and military structures.

Around 5:00 PM, your private car will return you to your hotel, marking the end of your Hechuan one-day adventure.
