Flexible Planning, Transparent Policies.

We understand that even the best-laid plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as flexible as possible while covering the upfront costs required to secure your premium accommodations, local transport, and expert guides in China.

1. Standard Tour Cancellations (By the Traveler)

If you need to cancel your booked tour, please submit your request to us in writing via email. The date we receive your written cancellation determines the applicable refund amount.

Since QgoChina incurs costs well before your tour begins, we apply the following tiered refund structure:

30+ Days Prior to Departure: Full refund of the tour cost, minus your initial non-refundable deposit.

15 to 29 Days Prior to Departure: 50% refund of the total tour cost.

7 to 14 Days Prior to Departure: 25% refund of the total tour cost.

6 Days or Less Prior to Departure (or No-Show): 0% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 6 days of the trip, or for travelers who fail to arrive.

> Note on Third-Party Flights & Trains: If your tour package includes pre-booked domestic flights or high-speed train tickets, the cancellation of these specific tickets is strictly subject to the refund policies of the respective Chinese airlines and railway authorities.

2. Alterations & Rescheduling

Want to change your dates instead of canceling? We are happy to help!

More than 15 Days Prior: You may reschedule your tour dates or transfer your booking to another person with no additional administrative fees (subject to hotel and guide availability). You will only be responsible for any difference in seasonal pricing or third-party ticket change fees.

Less than 15 Days Prior: Rescheduling requests made close to the departure date are treated as cancellations and re-bookings, and standard cancellation fees may apply.

3. Cancellations by QgoChina

In the highly unlikely event that QgoChina must cancel your tour prior to departure due to unforeseen operational issues or insufficient group numbers (for group tours), we will notify you immediately. You will be offered the choice of:

An alternative tour of equal or higher value.

A full, 100% refund of all monies paid to us, including your deposit.

4. Force Majeure (Unforeseeable Events)

If a tour must be canceled or significantly altered due to circumstances beyond our control—such as natural disasters, extreme weather, government travel restrictions, or global pandemics (Force Majeure)—QgoChina will work with you to reschedule your trip for a future date or issue a travel credit voucher valid for 24 months.

5. Refund Processing Times

Approved refunds will be processed securely back to your original method of payment.

Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or credit card provider.

6. Travel Insurance (Highly Recommended)

To protect your travel investment, QgoChina strongly advises all guests to purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. A good policy will cover you for unexpected trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and travel delays, ensuring you are not left out of pocket if life throws a curveball.
